Over the span of a couple of months, Anthony Gentile worked with travel and social media company, Route1Views, to produce a series of illustrations inspired by the works of the Curt Teich & Co. postcard company. Curt Teich was a German immigrant who, during the turn of the 19th century, designed some of the most iconic postcards in American history. Based off of his illustrations, Anthony created a series of postcards, stickers, and posters, for Route1Views.

However, Anthony’s love for history doesn’t nearly end at inspiration. During this project, he sought out an original series of postcards from the Curt Teich Company, in order to work directly from source material for his illustrations. Whilst additionally adding to his own extensive personal collection of art and antiques.
